Can repetitive thoughts like OCD make thoughts become reality?

The only thing I don't like about repetitive thought is that can this bring about what your thinking into the universe as they say your thoughts become your reality like in the book "The Secret" its said that what you think becomes true so if your thinking vulgar things that you can't control can that bring about that into reality? Just asking on behalf of a friend.
