Troubleshooting my 91 stealth.. im almst sure the prblm is crankshaft angle or tps?

i have a 91 stealth and cannot seem to troubleshoot the problem.. it has a ruff idle, stalls, and pops out of the exhaust on idle,and gets worse on accel. it also has a iratic idle, when coming to a stop. it seems to run alittle better when choke is on or car is in cooler temps..i was wondering if anyone knows how to check and or set the tps without a scanner or computer..the tps looks like it can be adjusted, i would also ask if the crank angle sensor can be tested and adjusted acuratly without being hooked to a machine..i have a timing light, but my question is,can a crank angle be adjusted on idle to obtain correct timing.. thanks for any reply!!
