How can I trust him again?

Trust is a huge thing in relationships and I cut a lot of slack, I only ask for promises to be kept or atleast truthful but in the past 9 months my boyfriend has has and lied about getting lapdances, only two but he can look me in the eye (the first for seven months) and lie to me and it hurts me, I consider lap dances as cheating as he well knows but it's the lying that hurts me and I need some advice on how to just get over this one and move on with the relationship.
