Why do i get a feeling of ruff spots behind my two front bottom teeth?

This happen every other month were suddenly i could feel with my tip of my tongue a little ruff spot where it scratches my tongue when i touch it and it feels weird. Anyone know why this happens or get rid of it? Thank you.
