You are way to young to be caught up in all of this drama. Not even a year yet and sex? I am certainly not against sex, but at least develop a strong foundation before moving on. I would leave the mom alone for a week or two and then talk to her face to face. That will show a lot of character on your part, which looks good. Good luck :)
